stranger to me


The painful process of purging
Emotional and generational wounds
Made me fully realize
That suppressing them
Did more damage to me
Than recognizing them...
Being numb to them
Felt stranger to me
Than releasing them...
Giving voice to pain
Seemed dangerous to me...
But in the end
Only brought endless lessons
To free me...
